sustainability

at Ladicah, we believe fashion can be both refined and responsible. while creating clothing can never be 100% sustainable we believe in making conscious choices wherever we can. our mission is to create pieces that last, in quality, design and relevance, while caring for the planet and the people behind our garments.

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY
we produce timeless pieces in small batches to fight fast fashion and overconsumption. our clothing is designed to be worn and loved for a long time.

MATERIALS WE STAND BY
we always aim to work with natural fabrics. we avoid polyester and synthetic fibres wherever possible, choosing materials that offer a softer feel, better breathability and a lighter footprint on the planet. each garment is carefully wrapped in 100% recycled paper bags, which are then packed in 100% plastic-free paper mailers for delivery to your door.

ETHICAL PRODUCTION IN PORTUGAL
our certified factories in Portugal provide safe working conditions and fair wages. we work closely with our production partners to ensure that people and the planet are respected at every stage of the process.

OUR CARBON REMOVAL COMMITMENT
we actively contribute to the fight against climate change by supporting permanent carbon removal from promising early-stage technologies.
so far, we have invested NOK 36,419, which is equivalent to:

  • 9 tons of CO₂ permanently removed

  • 91 hours of flying in economy

  • 33,181 km of driving

these funds help bring breakthrough solutions out of the lab and into the field – driving real, lasting change.

SUPPORTING WOMEN´S HEALTH

at ladicah, confidence isn’t something you perform - it’s something you return to when you understand and trust your own body.

too many women still live in bodies no one ever taught them to understand. that’s why a portion of our annual profits supports evidence‑based research and education on women’s health and rights globally.

because the more you know yourself, the more powerful you become. read more about the Ladicah red thread project here.
